ABOUT JENNIFER

As a native English speaker with over 20 years of experience teaching English, writing full-length fiction, and editing manuscripts, I bring a well-rounded skill set to my work. Having been both a traditionally and independently published author, I understand the diverse needs of writers across the publishing spectrum and strive to provide support tailored to each client.

I’m a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA) and Women’s Fiction Writers Association (WFWA), and I treat helping writers as my full-time calling. When I’m not editing, I enjoy spending time with my family or immersing myself in nature, where I find endless inspiration. Both my family life and time spent in nature deeply enrich my creative work.

With my unique blend of expertise as an editor, published fiction author, Reiki practitioner/teacher and experienced educator, I offer a thoughtful and well-balanced approach to the process.

As an award-winning fiction author, I understand the writing journey and the unique challenges associated with conveying profound, personal, and abstract ideas, as well as balancing plot, characters, and stakes.

I offer more than just editing; I’m drawn to the intersection of self-discovery. I love helping authors excavate truth from their work, uncover meaning, and tell a story that actually resonates.

If you’re looking for someone to just fix grammar, there are plenty of options.

If you want your manuscript to actually say something—to feel alive, honest, and memorable—

we’ll work well together.
